Chicken Republic expands outlets in Lagos to reach more consumers

NIGERIAChicken Republic, a foremost QSR brand, is set to unveil the latest additions to its Nigerian operations with new stores at Murtala Mohammed Airport 2 (MMA2) and Festac Town.

The chicken chain, famous for its authentic West African spiced chicken, embarked on an aggressive drive to deliver superior customer satisfaction by opening new outlets while upgrading existing ones.

According to the company’s CEO, David Butler in a statement, “the Nigerian QSR industry is extremely dynamic and fast paced with huge potential. Chicken Republic continues to compete through innovations in customer service and product excellence.

“We are excited to be in Festac and at MMA2, and we are confident of providing these two busy locations with modern fresh environments where customers can kick back as they enjoy our soulfully spiced chicken and sides.”

Speaking at a recent briefing, Susan Rotimi, head of marketing/PR, said: “To celebrate our latest additions, we have introduced a limited time offer of our irresistible Crunchy Wings and a Coca Cola drink for just N500, available at MMA2 and Festac outlets only.”

Meanwhile, the brand has recorded progress in the upgrade of its outlets across the country. The project, which involves a total internal and external make-over of all Chicken Republic’s outlets, was initiated in a bid to give its teeming customers a whole new brand experience.

The exercise, according to the statement, has so far been completed in outlets including Lekki Phase 1; Chevron Axis of Lekki; Adeola Odeku, Victoria Island; Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, and Coker Road, Ilupeju, all in Lagos. Also wearing the new look are outlets at Aminu Kano Crescent and Adetokunbo Ademola Crescent Wuse II, in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Explaining the reason behind the massive renovations, the firm said it was in response to consumer feedback for a modern and fresh ambiance.

“The renovations are our way of responding to the desires of our teeming and enlightened customers across the country and beyond. Our aim is to offer them more contemporary restaurant environments that are welcoming and comfortable.

This way, our customers can sit back and relax as they enjoy our soulfully spiced chicken,” according to the statement.

It is believed that the massive renovations will give the brand a competitive edge in the QSR industry.
