Cargill, Univar collaborate to strengthen distribution network for food ingredients

USA – Cargill’s Food Ingredients & Bio Industrial business and Univar, a global chemical and ingredients distributor and provider of value-added services have announced a long-term agreement for select food ingredients business units.

Univar’s extensive distribution network and access to food innovators will complement Cargill’s approach to expand markets, leverage expertise, mobilize data, scale up sustainability and deliver corporate responsibility impact.

The partnership targets to benefit customers who are set to enjoy combined value of Cargill’s product lines and Univar’s wide distribution network which guarantees fast, reliable service in the US and Canada.

To address the changing consumer tastes and preferences around the globe, Univar serves to establish a strong distribution channel of food ingredients.

Cargill joins a group of leading suppliers who have benefited from Univar’s intensive supply chain.
