Azelis inks distribution deal with biopolymers supplier, CP Kelco

INDONESIA – Azelis, specialty ingredients distributor and supplier has partnered with CP Kelco,  a leading hydrocolloids producer to enhance accessibility of its diverse range of products and innovative services including carrageenan, pectin, gellan gum and xanthan gum products in Indonesia.

The partnership strengthens existing agreements between the two companies in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC).

Azelis became the exclusive distributor for CP Kelco in China and Hong Kong SAR for food, beverage, consumer and industrial application segments in 2012.

Their relationship includes local technical and commercial support, joint development of innovative solutions and formulations that meet customer needs anticipate market trends, improve food safety and quality.

Azelis entered the Asia Pacific in 2005 to see great acceleration in growth, prompting expansion into New Zealand, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia.

The company made two new appointments in Asia Pacific, which is managing directors for Japan and Indonesia to support the high growth potential in the region.

To meet requirements of its customers across a range of applications in the personal care, food, coatings and homecare markets in China and Vietnam, the company has invested in fully equipped laboratories.

The speciality chemicals distributor Azelis announced that it was expanding its presence in Asia Pacific with the opening of an office in Indonesia in 2017.
