SWITZERLAND – Global flavours and colours specialist Givaudan has appointed Louie D’Amico as President of the Flavour Division and member of the Executive Committee.
He succeeds Mauricio Graber who has left Givaudan to become Chief Executive Officer at Chr. Hansen, the Danish provider of dairy and food industry solutions.
Louie D’Amico, a holder of BSc in Chemistry from Michigan State University, was Head of Flavours Americas at Givaudan before appointment to this position that will be effective 1 April 2018.

Born in 1961, Louie D’Amico joined Givaudan in 1989 as a key account manager with Tastemaker.
He has worked as Head of the North America Sweet Goods business unit and later the North America Savoury business unit.

He will continue to expand our global market leadership and evolve our flavour solutions to the needs of a fast changing food and beverage market,” added Gilles Andrier.
In Europe, he was Head of International Key Account Management, Head of the Global Beverage business unit and later Commercial Head of EAME, then relocated back to the USA as Head of Flavours Americas.
