KENYA – Afmass, Food Expo Eastern Africa’s Most Influential Food Industry Trade Show is back in 2023 and will be held at the Sarit Expo Center as from 15th to 17th June 2023.

Held since 2015, the trade show has grown to be the most important platform to source the latest new technologies and packaged food products and where to discover the latest investment opportunities and market trends in Eastern Africa’s food industry.

The event is mainly targeted at the food, beverage and milling industry in the Eastern African Community and the COMESA regions.

This year, Afmass expects to welcome more than 5,000 delegates and visitors from more than 60 countries, majority of them from Africa – plus many more from across the World.

Just like in 2021, this year’s edition will be comprised of five Sections: food ingredients, milling and baking technology, process and pack, laboratory, and food & drinks market, which combine showcase the A-Z of Africa’s food, beverage and milling industries.

The expo comes against a backdrop of rapid growth in the food industry in Eastern Africa creating a need for more innovative, efficient, affordable, and adaptable technologies is on the rise.

There is also the need to develop new food products that meet the aspirations of a young, rapidly urbanizing and digitally-focused population.
