In his new role, Bergstein will lead the company’s growth and initiatives towards achieving sustainable production.
“We have an amazing responsibility to help conserve, protect, and responsibly package our natural resources for the long-term while providing healthy hydration to millions,” assured Bergstein.
The beverage company sells spring and purified water under the Poland Spring, Deer Park, Ozarka, Ice Mountain, Zephyrhills, Arrowhead, Pure Life, and Splash brands.
The company came into existence in April following the completion of the sale of Nestle’s North American business to One Rock Capital Partners, LLC in partnership with Metropoulos & Co.
BlueTriton Brands and its affiliates in the United States and Canada employ over 7,000 employees. The Ozarka producer manages resources for long-term sustainability and helps to safeguard more than 20,000 acres of land surrounding its springs and watersheds in the U.S. and Canada.
Earlier during the year, the Arrowhead producer and the Meadows Center for Water and the Environment at Texas State launched an expanded three-year partnership to continue working together to ensure the long-term sustainability of Texas’ water resources.
Building on the successes of their five-year partnership, BlueTriton and the Meadows Center will scale community science efforts across the state and enhance sustainability education on-site at Spring Lake in San Marcos.
“We are excited to continue our support of the Meadows Center. Their leadership in water stewardship, management, and sustainability aligns very well with the work we do at BlueTriton and we look forward to collaborating on future projects,” said Trey Nixon, Natural resource manager for the Splash brand producer.
