US — Chick-fil-A, Inc., one of America’s largest fast food restaurant chains, has announced that its signature sauces, Chick-fil-A and Polynesian Sauce, will be available to buy at retailers including Walmart, Publix and Kroger starting in mid-November.

The company said that the sauces to be packaged in 16-oz bottles will be available at participating retailers in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana and Mississippi.

This, the company said is in preparation for a broader nationwide rollout scheduled for early 2021.

Bottles of the company’s Chick-fil-A and Polynesian sauces have been available at retailers in Florida since April.

“Chick-fil-A Sauce and Polynesian Sauce were offered as part of a pilot program in select Florida retailers earlier this year, and we’re excited to expand availability of our two most beloved sauces across the country,” said L.J. Yankosky, senior director of innovation and new ventures at Chick-fil-A.

Chick-fil-A said 100% of the royalties it receives from third-party retail sales will support scholarships for its restaurant team members through the retailer’s Chick-fil-A Remarkable Futures Scholarship Initiative.

“Restaurant team members go above and beyond every day to care for our guests and the communities they serve,” Yankosky said.

“We’re thrilled that every 16-oz bottled sauce purchased from a participating retailer will help provide additional scholarship opportunities to team members, who are a key ingredient to our restaurant experience.”

In addition to offering the bottled sauces at select retailers, 8-oz bottles of signature Chick-fil-A sauces are also available for purchase at participating restaurants.

Chick-fil-A has also announced plans to open its historical restaurant at Riverview, Florida which has remained closed for sometime now as part of measures to prevent spread of the covid-19 virus.

The franchise says that the Riverview location will open for business once a thorough review has been done to ensure the necessary precautions are in place for everyone’s protection.

In place of the traditional Chick-fil-A First 100 Grand Opening celebration, Chick-fil-A Riverview says it will provide free Chick-fil-A meals for a year to 100 local heroes making an impact in the greater Hillsborough County community.
