DENMARK – Arla Foods has announced the appointment of Florence Rollet and Nana Bule as external advisors to its board of directors.
Arla said that Florence and Bule will bring global digital, marketing and technology expertise to compliment the commercial and farming knowledge of the dairy cooperative’s elected board members.
Florence Rollet is currently a venture partner with LuxuryTechFund in Paris and has sat on the board of the French spirits company giant Remy Cointreau for six years before stepping down in July 2019.
She is an experienced and versatile business leader and marketing executive having a wide global marketing and brand expertise from commercial roles at large global FMCG companies such as Danone, Pepsi and Reckitt Benckiser.
In addition, the new external advisor, Nana Bule has been in the tech industry for almost two decades and is the newly appointed CEO of Microsoft in Denmark and board member at Energinet.
She will bring in her in depth knowledge of fast paced global digitalization as former COO and CMO at Microsoft Denmark where she has worked with some of the largest enterprises on their digital transformation journey.
Nana Bule holds a degree from CBS in Business Economics and Strategy in addition to graduate studies at IT University of Copenhagen.
She currently sits on the board of Energinet, an independent public enterprise that operates and develops the Danish energy transmission systems, and on the Central Board at the Confederation of Danish Industry.

The new external advisors came to effect on October 1st 2019. Arla Foods Board of Directors consists of 15 farmer owners who are elected by the Board of Representatives and three employee representatives.
