POLAND- Azelis, a leading global innovation service provider in the specialty chemicals and food ingredients industry, has opened a Regional Competence Center (RCC) dedicated to meat and meat alternatives in Poznań, Poland.

This well-equipped center will enable Azelis to conduct manufacturing process trials, assisting partners in developing recipes and goods that match their needs.

The RCC, which is situated halfway between Warsaw and Berlin, will benefit both local and regional partners with Azelis’ cutting-edge and environmentally friendly technology for smoking and browning.

These technologies will allow Azelis to suggest flavoring and coloring methods for meat, meat substitutes, fish, cheese, baked goods, and many other final products that are healthier and more effective.

The RCC will enable Azelis to quickly adapt to changing market demands while securely testing production methods on a smaller scale, minimizing health hazards, and concentrating entirely on working more quickly and productively.

Radoslaw Krzewski, Business Manager Food & Nutrition at Azelis, noted that the RCC features modern equipment, opening new possibilities for Azelis to enhance its suppliers’ concepts, in line with local preferences.

The RCC will educate coworkers, clients, and vendors about expertise and experience in food and nutrition. This is in keeping with the company’s objective to increase its innovation skills.

“We pride ourselves on being able to optimize suppliers’ ideas and develop customer intimacy, working together on possible improvements and emerging trends in a safe, quick, and cost-efficient way.” Renata Bugiel, Managing Director Azelis Poland, noted.

A similar facility was opened in Cairo, Egypt in June this year, further enabling the Azelis team to provide even more innovative and technical support to customers throughout the entire MEA region.

Earlier, Azelis opened two new Food & Nutrition (F&N) application laboratories in Casablanca, Morocco and Johannesburg, South Africa to expand its footprint in Africa.

A similar facility was opened in Cairo, Egypt in June this year, further enabling the Azelis team to provide even more innovative and technical support to customers throughout the entire MEA region.

These application laboratories will primarily focus on dairy, fruit preparations, baking, and beverages, complementing the many other Azelis F&N laboratories across EMEA and worldwide.

In addition, the facilities will host various customer seminars and trainings, underscoring Azelis’ strategy to be an innovation service provider by bringing knowledge and formulations closer to its customers.

Chris Sacy, Managing Director Azelis MEA, said, “The opening of two new Food & Nutrition application laboratories is a significant move in the market, supporting our drive for innovation, and further improving the technical service we provide to customers.”
