USA – BAK Food Equipment, an equipment supplier in the food industry, has named Sam Collup as the new Regional Sales Manager for the Southeastern territory.
Collup, who brings over a decade of operational and sales experience within the food processing and manufacturing industry, will be responsible for overseeing client relations across the Southeast region.
Collup’s career includes a 10-year stint with Foster Farms, where he held various leadership roles, including Hatchery Plant Manager and Feed Mill Manager.
During his time with the company, he managed day-to-day operations such as commodity handling, production, and distribution across multiple facilities in California and Oregon.
He was also actively involved in developing safety protocols, including the HACCP program and energy control procedures aimed at improving operational safety and quality assurance.
In 2011, Collup moved into a sales role with Bettcher Industries, where he served as Regional Manager and later Sales Director for both Bettcher and Gainco product lines.
His role expanded further when he became the US Director of Sales for Gainco, playing a key part in the merging of Cantrell-Gainco Group in 2020, a move that increased the company’s offerings for protein processing plants.
Collup holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science, specializing in Production Management, from California State University, Fresno.
BAK Food Equipment, which specializes in the installation, design, and engineering of food-processing equipment, expressed confidence in Collup’s ability to support the company’s continued growth and success in the region.
