USA – US custom ingredients supplier Baldwin Richardson Foods has expanded beyond the horizons of manufacturing ingredients only into aseptic beverages with the acquisition of manufacturing assets of Aseptic Solutions USA Ventures in Corona, California.

Based in Macedon in New York State, Baldwin Richardson Foods supplies sauces, syrups, toppings, and fillings to food service, CPG, and retail customers. It also has its brands – Mrs. Richardson’s dessert sauces and Nance’s condiments.

Aseptic manufacturing solutions make safe, shelf-stable, preservative-free products while maintaining maximum freshness, flavor, texture, and nutritional value.

With the purchase of the solution company, Baldwin Richardson Foods said it expands its manufacturing capabilities to include high-demand aseptic products.

It also accelerates its commercial strategy to be a full-portfolio liquid product supplier across the food and beverage industry.

“Baldwin Richardson Foods strives to meet consumers where they are and to partner with our customers to achieve their vision for long-term growth,” said Erin Tolefree, President of Baldwin Richardson Foods.

“In addition to expanding our product offerings, this acquisition will expand our geographical footprint and the agility of our supply chain, best positioning us to help our customers build for the future.”

Baldwin Richardson Foods plans to use the site to manufacture a range of beverage products, including plant-based milk alternatives, fruit juices, teas, and smoothies.

Cara Hughes, Vice President of Customer and Community at Baldwin Richardson Foods noted that in 25 years of operation, the company has earned a reputation for delivering with excellence, listening to its customers, and providing the products they need to be successful with their customers in a competitive and rapidly changing industry.

According to Hughes, the new expansion is a demonstration of Baldwin Richardson Foods’ culture and a commitment to delivering on its customers’ needs.

Over the span of years, the USA’s aseptic manufacturing solutions market has witnessed several mergers and acquisitions.

Last Year, Sunny Sky Products acquired low-acid aseptic beverage solutions manufacturer, GoodWest Industries, from Palladium Equity Partners.

Sunny Sky Products is a producer of dispensed beverage solutions, offering hot, cold, frozen, and beverage enhancer products for convenience stores and food service channels.

Meanwhile, GoodWest used to sell shelf-stable and bag-in-box coffee creamers, cold brew coffees, and iced coffees.

Ashley Edens, President and CEO of Sunny Sky Products, noted the acquisition would provide expanded product offerings to the company’s valuable customers while continuing to deliver top-quality products and superior customer service.
