Kenyan Originals debuts new gin line

Kenyan Originals (KO), one of the craft beverage producers in Kenya, has expanded its portfolio with the launch of 58 gin brand.

The gin brand comes in two flavors; the 58 Classic, a natural fruity gin with a spicy finish, made with locally-grown lime, groundnuts, mint, mabuyu (baobab powder), and ginger.

While the 58 spiced orange gin is a light, citrusy- gin made from orange, dried mango, chili, and turmeric.

The gin brands retail at ksh.1300(US$10.94) and are available around outlets countrywide and through the company’s website.

Coca-Cola, Jack Daniel’s Set to Launch 5% ABV RTD Cocktail

The Coca-Cola Company is accelerating its push into beverage alcohol with the announcement of a new global partnership with Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey to release a ready-to-drink cocktail.

Jack Daniel’s & Coca-Cola RTD will be launched initially in Mexico later this year before continuing a global rollout.

The product is said to contain 5% ABV in each 12 oz. can, and will also be available in a zero-sugar version.

AriZona Hard with 5% alcohol launched in Quebec

Molson Coors, an American multinational drink and brewing company, has launched AriZona Hard, the iconic AriZona iced tea with 5% alcohol, in Quebec.

The Arizona Hard comes in three iconic flavors to sip on this summer, that includes AriZona Hard Green Tea, AriZona Hard Lemon Iced Tea, and AriZona Hard Peach Iced Tea.

According to the company, AriZona Hard Green Tea is made from real brewed green tea, flavored with Ginseng & honey, it’s the refreshing addition you’ll enjoy in your cooler this summer.

While AriZona Hard Lemon Iced Tea is brewed with black tea and lemon flavor with citrus infusion making it the ultimate beverage for your summer picnic.

Also, the AriZona Hard Peach Iced Tea has fruity peach notes that are combined with a sweet aroma making this the perfect summer refresher.

The drinks are available on the website; AdultingWithAriZona.com, in Salon AriZona, and at participating convenience and grocery stores across the province.

Top Cuvée expands House Vermouth

London-based natural wine bar Top Cuvée has expanded its House label range with the launch of House Vermouth.

The company said the 14.9% ABV vermouth has been crafted with a lighter style, offering crisp citrus and juicy peach notes complemented with bitter wormwood that is designed to be served neat or with soda.

The product is said to be made using the fruit-forward Castelao, and also includes an infusion of peach stone, bitter orange peel, and lemon peel, alongside lemon thyme, bay leaves, cardamom, and rosemary.

This is combined with an orris root and gentian-infused English grain spirit, according to Top Cuvée.

In addition, the company promised that for every degree above 25°C the temperature reaches in London, the price of House Vermouth will drop by £1 from Shop Cuvée online and in-store at Shop Cuvée branches in Blackstock Road and Bethnal Green Road.

One-liter bottles of House Vermouth are priced at £25 (US$30.61) at Shop Cuvée.
