USA – Wixon, Inc. has appointed Brennan Chillemi as the new industrial ingredients sales manager, where he will serve as the account manager for Illinois and the greater Chicago area.
In this role, Chillemi is set to enhance customer relations and deliver outstanding service and products to these regions, the company announced.
Chillemi brings over a decade of expertise in industrial ingredients to his new position. His previous role at Wixon was as a territory account manager.
Before joining Wixon, Chillemi worked as a Midwest sales representative at Carolina Ingredients.
Additionally, he held roles at Sensient Technologies Corp. as a middle Midwest sales account manager and a senior inside sales representative.
His career also includes stints at MIFAB as a marketing coordinator and at Batory Foods Inc. as a wellness coordinator, account manager, and administrative assistant.
Chillemi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in technical management with a focus on sales and marketing from DeVry University.
“We are thrilled to welcome Brennan to our accomplished sales team,” said Terry Yakes, director of sales for Wixon’s industrial ingredients division. “His extensive market experience with the product lines we offer will be invaluable to both Wixon and the customers he will support.”
This announcement follows closely on the heels of significant recent developments at Wixon. On June 27, the company celebrated the completion of a substantial renovation of its R&D Technical Center.
The US$1.836 million project, which spanned six months, has greatly enhanced the facility’s capabilities.
The upgraded 6,981-square-foot R&D Technical Center now features improved spaces for customer collaborations.
The facility includes redesigned ergonomic workstations equipped with individual environmental air handling modules to optimize process flow and support collaborative innovation.
Among the new additions are two advanced sample spray dryer units, which enable Wixon to offer custom flavor solutions and expedite sample turnaround times.
