USA – Bühler North America, has acquired the American Pellet Mill Services, Inc. (APM), an equipment and service company based in Springdale, Arkansas, strengthen its offering to US feed, petfood, grain and oilseed processors.
Following the acquisition, Bühler North America noted that the Springdale location will become a new service center site in the Bühler Customer Service network.
All American Pellet Mill Services’ employees will join the Bühler team and operations will continue unchanged, utilizing the “pick-up, repair, and deliver” model.
Bühler North America is also planning further investments in the company to update equipment used to deliver services while leveraging Bühler’s supply chain to improve competitiveness, both in terms of cost and efficiency.
Bühler maintained that customers will also benefit from its deep process expertise, as an original equipment manufacturer, to deliver improved operational insights, along with the services provided.

Sparks, along with Joe Sparks, APM Vice President, and Rose Sparks, APM Sales Manager, will continue to lead the Springdale location as members of the Bühler team.
Meanwhile, Bühler has named Irene Mark-Eisenring as the company’s new chief human resources officer. Mark-Eisenring joined Bühler in 2016 as head of corporate personnel development.
She has been responsible for setting and implementing strategies in the fields of global human resources (HR) development, HR marketing and employer branding, talent and performance management, strategic recruiting, and diversity and inclusion.
Mark-Eisenring will succeed Dipak Mane, who will pursue other management tasks within the organization, supporting the chief executive officer and the executive board.
