UK – Cadbury, a leading confectionery brand and subsidiary of Mondelez International, has introduced three new non-HFSS (high in fat, salt, and sugar) bars to its Dairy Milk Fruitier & Nuttier range, aiming to offer consumers a healthier snacking option without compromising on taste.
The new bars are packed with a blend of fruits, crispies, cocoa, and crunchy nuts, all topped with a layer of Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate.
They come in two flavors: Classic and Orange Boost, with the latter featuring a layer of Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate Orange. Initially available in a multipack 4x30g format across the UK this month, the orange variant will also be released in a single 40g bar format starting from the end of May.
Designed to cater to health-conscious consumers, the bars are said to contain over 70 percent fruit and nuts and offer just 127 kcals per 30g multipack bar. They are low in sugar and saturated fat while being high in fiber, making them a guilt-free indulgence option.
Abi Eayrs, brand manager for Cadbury at Mondelēz International, said, “There is an ever-growing consumer demand for health-conscious treats that still deliver on taste, and this unique offering will help retailers tap into this and maximize their non-HFSS sales.”
This launch builds on Cadbury’s commitment to offering healthier alternatives, following the success of its Dairy Milk Fruitier & Nuttier Trail Mix platform introduced last year.
Additionally, earlier this month, Cadbury Brunch debuted a non-HFSS range of its bars in the UK, further expanding its portfolio of healthier snacking options.
The Cadbury Brunch Light bars, each containing less than 100 calories, come in two flavor varieties: Honey & Oat and Orange.
These bars are crafted to meet the increasing demand for healthier snacking alternatives, providing consumers with satisfying options while being mindful of their calorie intake.
