Captain Morgan unveils Sweet Chili Lime rum
UK – Diageo’s Captain Morgan brand has introduced a new Sweet Chili Lime rum, expanding its flavored rum portfolio with a bold mix of sweetness, citrus, and subtle chili heat.
“With flavor trends heating up, we wanted to create something that defies the rules of traditional rum,” said Anne Nosko, Vice President of Captain Morgan. “Captain Morgan Sweet Chili Lime gives fans exactly what they’re craving – the perfect balance of sweet and spicy, and a bold flavor experience with every sip.”
The new flavor is recommended as a chilled short or mixed into a cocktail for an added kick.
Captain Morgan Sweet Chili Lime is available in the UK in 50ml, 375ml, 750ml, 1-litre, and 1.75-litre bottles, with an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 35%.
Johnnie Walker Vault
The launch follows another recent initiative by Diageo, with its Johnnie Walker whisky brand unveiling a global luxury platform and experience dubbed Johnnie Walker Vault.
Located at The Johnnie Walker Experience on Princes Street, Edinburgh, the Vault provides an exclusive blending session with Dr. Emma Walker, Johnnie Walker’s Master Blender.
Set in a former underground bank vault, the Johnnie Walker Vault houses over 500 small, square bottles, each filled with rare whisky samples from the brand’s extensive collection of 10 million casks, some aged for more than 50 years.
Participants in the blending session will create their own bespoke Johnnie Walker expression, with the experience starting at £50,000 (US$64,700).
Julie Bramham, Diageo’s Managing Director Global Luxury and Marketing Transformation Director, described the initiative as “a new global luxury platform uniting bespoke blends, collaborations with cultural icons, and luxurious experiences under one visionary banner.”
As part of the exclusive offering, customers will leave the Johnnie Walker Vault with a 70cl bottle of their private blend, presented in a Baccarat crystal decanter.
The one-of-a-kind creation will be documented in the Johnnie Walker Vault archive.
Additionally, the package includes a two-night stay at the Gleneagles hotel for two and a Michelin-starred dining experience.
Registration for the Johnnie Walker Vault experience opened on March 12, 2025.
