Chickapea unveils new vegetarian pulse-based mac and cheese

CANADA – Chickapea, maker of healthy pasta made from just organic chickpeas and lentils has unveiled a pulse-based, organic chickpea and lentil mac and cheese meant to boost vegetarian diet in Canada.

Chickapea Mac and Cheese is a combination of simple, real ingredients and entails quick preparation, suitable for the modern busy lifestyles.

It was created using simple two-ingredient pasta with a clean, organic cheese sauce to give an easy to prepare meal, at the same time meet an individual’s nutritional needs.

The convenient and healthy meal comes in two flavors, that is, Mac with classic cheddar, mini spirals with classic cheddar, shells with white cheddar.

Each product combines chickpea and lentil ingredients with the required nutritional content including 19g of protein, 8g of fibre and less than 500mg of sodium per serving.

Mac and cheese expands the healthier product range that consumers can choose from, giving them a creamy, cheesy, easy and delicious taste.
