NIGERIA- Chowdeck, a leading online delivery platform, has announced an exclusive partnership with renowned quick-service restaurant (QSR) chain Chicken Republic to broaden its delivery meal portfolio for its customers in Ibadan and Lagos.
Although Chowdeck already provides logistics services for the QSR chain in 8 cities in Nigeria, the exclusive partnership is intended to cement the delivery platform’s position as Chicken Republic’s preferred delivery partner.
Chicken Republic will benefit from Chowdeck’s advanced logistical network and technologies, which are intended to enhance operational efficiency and wider customer reach. Customers in the two cities will benefit from lower delivery fees and competitive pricing.
Value, customer satisfaction, and appeal to loyal customers will be achieved via periodic in-app special discount offers and the chance to earn Chowscore points for various rewards. The two companies announced an exclusive N1,000 (US$0.59) meal deal.
The partnership is expected to significantly increase daily sales for the QSR chain and enhance customer engagement, which is expected to enhance Chicken Republic’s competitive advantage. The QSR market in Nigeria and the rest of the world has been plagued by inflation-driven high input costs, prices, and dwindling demand.
The partnership also provides Chowdeck with the opportunity to broaden its footprint in the promising online food delivery market. According to IMARC Group, Nigeria’s online food delivery market is expected to reach the US$4.82 billion market volume valuation by 2029, growing at a combined annual growth rate (CAGR) of 14.12% from 2024 to 2029.
