USA – Diageo-owned vodka brand Cîroc has unveiled its latest flavor innovation, Ciroc Limonata, marking a permanent addition to the brand’s diverse portfolio.
Drawing inspiration from the vibrant essence of the Mediterranean, this meticulously crafted vodka is infused with tangy citrus and Italian lemon flavors, inviting consumers to experience a vacation ambiance at any time and place, said Ciroc.
According to the brand, Cîroc Limonata boasts distinct lemon-tasting accents that skillfully balance sweetness with zest, creating a unique flavor profile. The creation of this exquisite vodka was influenced by the timeless allure of Capri’s citrus groves, Mediterranean climate, and sophisticated ambiance.
James Valdes, the brand director for Ciroc, expressed the vision behind Cîroc Limonata, stating, “The world of Ciroc Limonata evokes the perfect Italian summer, encouraging new experiences and adventures – no matter what time of year or where you happen to be enjoying yourself.”
The Ciroc vodka brand is now solely owned by Diageo after it settled a legal dispute with rapper Sean Combs, known as Diddy in January.
The drinks giant ended its partnership with Combs in June 2022, after he sued the firm, accusing it of neglecting his tequila brands “due to his race”. At the time, the American rapper claimed that Diageo ‘typecasted’ Cîroc and DeLeon, deciding they are ‘black brands’ that should be targeted only to urban consumers.
Cîroc Limonata is set to be available for purchase in major U.S. retailers starting early February, offering consumers a taste of the Mediterranean’s allure in the form of a luxurious vodka experience.
