UK – Beverage giant Coca-Cola has joined forces with long-time partner Walt Disney Company to introduce Coca-Cola x Marvel: The Heroes, a captivating collaboration featuring some of Marvel’s most beloved characters.  

The partnership encompasses a limited-edition packaging line and a cinematic commercial, offering fans an immersive experience that merges the worlds of Coca-Cola and Marvel. 

The limited-time campaign introduces exclusive Coca-Cola pack designs adorned with illustrations of 38 iconic Marvel characters.  

Each can and bottle showcases heroes and villains from across the Marvel Universe, portrayed in a captivating color scheme of white, red, and black to point up their presence.  

Moreover, the packaging incorporates scannable codes, enabling consumers to unlock augmented reality (AR) extensions on Coca-Cola’s website and bring their favorite characters to life. 

Mindy Hamilton, Senior Vice President of Global Marketing Partnerships at The Walt Disney Company, emphasized the innovative nature of the collaboration, stating, “Our corporate alliance with Coca-Cola uniquely positioned us to develop something remarkably innovative within the industry.” 

The campaign not only offers collectors a chance to acquire these exclusive designs but also provides opportunities to win exciting prizes, including the Ultimate Fan Experience, Disney Cruise, Marvel movie screenings, collectable influencer boxes, movie tickets, autographed memorabilia, and Disney+ subscriptions. 

Islam ElDessouky, Global Head of Creative Strategy and Content for Coca-Cola, highlighted the significance of the partnership, noting, “Coca-Cola has a long history with Disney, and it’s exciting to have a relationship that encourages and enables us to continue to push ourselves and our relationship to new heights creatively.” 

The collaboration extends beyond just packaging, with Coca-Cola and Marvel unveiling a new TV spot that showcases the magic of Coca-Cola uniting the Marvel Universe to save the day.  

The commercial follows a woman who inadvertently puts an entire comic book world in danger, with Coca-Cola’s intervention proving instrumental in resolving the crisis. 

The Coca-Cola x Marvel: The Heroes limited-edition products feature characters across both Coca-Cola and Coca-Cola Zero Sugar variants, including iconic figures such as Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Black Panther, and Spider-Man, among others. 

The campaign, which began on April 8, is now available in over 50 countries worldwide, spanning North America, Latin America, Europe, China, Japan, and the Asia Pacific region.  

Fans can collect their favorite characters from this exciting collaboration at stores globally, marking a significant moment in the ongoing partnership between Coca-Cola and Disney.
