NIGERIA – Coca-Cola Nigeria Ltd has expanded its portfolio with the launch of a limited-edition soft drink, Coca-Cola Wozzaah Zero Sugar.
This innovative product, inspired by Africa’s diverse cultures and landscapes, blends tropical notes with exotic fruits and spices to create a unique flavor profile.
Coca-Cola Wozzaah aims to capture the essence of the continent while appealing to both local and global palates. The beverage is now available at select outlets across Nigeria.
At the product’s official launch, Soji Omoigui, Director and Frontline Marketer for Coca-Cola Nigeria, described Wozzaah as a drink tailored for the younger generation, specifically targeting Gen Z consumers.
“Coca-Cola Wozzaah is a product inspired by African and Nigerian culture. We are bringing this limited-edition flavor to the Nigerian market, unleashing the taste of Africa,” she stated.
Omoigui also highlighted that the product was initially launched in South Africa before debuting in Nigeria, adding that it offers an exciting, great-tasting experience.
The launch of Wozzaah comes as Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company (HBC) continues its expansion in Nigeria, with plans to invest US$1 billion over the next five years.
This investment is part of HBC’s long-term commitment to strengthen its market presence.
Over the past decade, Coca-Cola HBC has already invested US$1.5 billion in Nigeria through its local arm, Nigerian Bottling Company.
The Nigerian government has pledged its support for Coca-Cola’s investment plans, emphasizing collaboration on issues such as environmental sustainability and climate change.
This new investment signals Coca-Cola’s continued confidence in Nigeria’s growing consumer market.
