Ben&Jerry debuts Cherry Crumble to broaden ice cream spot

Ben & Jerry’s, a leading premium ice cream, frozen yogurt, sorbet, and non-dairy brand, has launched Cherry Crumble, which was inspired by Bing cherries and fruit cobbler.

Cherry crumble is a combination of buttery ice cream with cherries and swirls of oat crumble, according to the company.

The company says the Limited Batch Cherry Crumble provides a snappy, sweet pop of fruity flavor that is dark and delicious.

Additionally, the product’s texture is said to be brimming with the crunchy oat crumble swirl that provides an additional layer of texture and mouthfeel to complement the creamy base.

The Cherry Crumble has already hit store shelves across the US for a limited time and goes for around US$5.49 a pop.

Ripple Foods adds Oatmilk + Protein milk to range

Elsewhere, Ripple Foods has launched Oatmilk + Protein, a beverage that features creamy oat milk and pea protein.

Developed to be nutrient-rich, the new product offers six grams of plant-based protein per serving, which is three times more than oat milk alone.

When compared to dairy milk, Ripple’s Oatmilk + Protein is 50-percent lower in sugar, and 50-percent higher in calcium, according to the company.

Greater Ice cream debuts Frozen Hot chocolate as second of five flavors for this year

Moreover, Graeter’s Ice Cream, a local favorite French pot ice cream maker, has announced the release of Frozen Hot Chocolate ice cream as its second of five limited-time bonus flavors for this year.

Graeter describes the flavor as a “decadent combination of rich milk chocolate ice cream, marshmallows, and a hint of spice.”

Each bonus flavor remains a secret until the day of its release, and will only be available for a limited time, according to the company.

Graeter’s added that once the flavor is gone from scoop shops and online, the flavor is retired for the year.

The first flavor of this secret series was Strawberry Cheesecake, announced on May 16.

Violife Foods launches three creamy dairy-free dips

In addition to the new launches is three creamy dairy-free dips from Violife Foods, a 100% vegan dairy company, which becomes an expansion into a new category of products.

The new Violife dips will be available in Ranch, French Onion, and Spinach & Artichoke, all flavors were chosen intentionally to compete with classic dairy dips.

While the Greek brand is the most popular for its vegan cheeses, it has also launched savory dips placing it next to its dairy counterparts in a whole new category.

Violife’s new dips come in 200-gram (7.05-ounce) tubs and will be available at all Whole Foods Market locations nationwide by June 24—with some locations already stocking the new products.
