USA – The world food products corporation, Dannon has unveiled two new flavors of its Activia Probiotic Dailies yogurt range featuring prebiotic fibre.
According to the company, the new Activia Probiotic Dailies have billions of live and active probiotics, prebiotic fibre, added with real honey and lemon ginger.
“These new products provide a new option for the more than half of people who prefer to get their probiotics from food instead of a pill.
Now, you can have the dynamic duo of probiotics and prebiotic fibre, with real ginger, all in a few sips,” said the company in a statement.
Honey ginger and lemon ginger Activia Probiotic Dailies are being introduced to the US now with a suggested retail price of US$5.59 for a pack of eight.
The company said that the 3.1oz serving size makes it convenient to get probiotics on the go or add into a smoothie recipe.
Dannon introduced the new Activia Dailies in the US in February last year.
Offered in a range of five flavors including strawberry, blueberry, cherry and vanilla and acai berry, Activia Dailies provide the Activia brand’s same signature probiotic in a portable and convenient beverage, making it even easier for busy consumers to add good bacteria to their daily routine.
The line also stays true to Activia’s digestive health heritage and may help reduce the frequency of minor digestive discomfort, including bloating, gas, abdominal discomfort and rumbling, when consumed twice a day for two weeks as part of a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Activia Dailies is a line of delicious, quick and easy probiotic low-fat yogurt drinks available in 3.1 fluid ounce portions.
Activia Dailies contain the same live and active probiotics found in Activia’s range of yogurts but in a more convenient package, making it a more attractive product for time-poor consumers.
The range gives consumers a quick, nutritious and tasty way to incorporate the digestive health benefits of Activia with its live and active probiotics into their diet.
Activia Dailies seeks to meet the needs of consumers who are interested in trying probiotics, but would prefer a delicious, quick and easy option instead of a pill or supplement.
