UK – Diageo has announced the release of its latest Talisker 30-Year-Old single malt Scotch, a limited-edition expression that has become a much-anticipated annual offering since its initial launch in 2006.

Crafted by the Isle of Skye distillery, this year’s edition is noted for capturing three decades of maturation, offering a complex flavor profile that includes notes of red apple, stone fruit, pecan fudge, wood spice, and vanilla pod.

Ewan Gunn, senior ambassador for Diageo’s single malt Scotch whiskies, described the release as an elevated version of the classic Talisker single malt.

He emphasized its sweet smoke and peppery notes, calling it an elegant and complex expression that represents the pinnacle of Talisker’s whisky range.

Bottled at 49.8% ABV, the 2024 release is the most limited edition in the series to date, with only 2,610 bottles available worldwide.

The limited availability adds to the exclusivity and appeal of this distinguished Scotch.

The Talisker 30-Year-Old will be available at select retailers and online via Malts.com, catering to collectors and whisky enthusiasts eager to experience this rare expression.

The release comes recently after Diageo’s beer brand Guinness revealed its largest-ever global campaign, marking its debut as the Official Beer and Official Non-Alcoholic Beer of the Premier League.

The launch follows another successful year for the iconic black pint, which has achieved double-digit growth for the seventh consecutive half-year.

The campaign features four new adverts, global out-of-home advertising, ‘Lovely Game for a Guinness’ creative in pubs and retail outlets, sponsorship of the Premier League’s Goal of the Month award, and a fleet of 20 tankers bringing the beautiful beer to the beautiful game.
