Döhler North America strengthens natural ingredients portfolio with acquisition of Premier Juices

Döhler’s acquisition of Premier Juices enhances its fruit-based product offerings, bolsters supply chain efficiency, and supports growing demand for natural ingredients.

USA – Döhler North America has expanded its operations with the acquisition of Premier Juices, a move aimed at strengthening its natural fruit-based product offerings across the beverage, food, life science, and nutrition industries.

Premier Juices, founded in 1993 and headquartered in Florida, is an international supplier of fruit concentrates and byproducts.

The acquisition enhances Döhler’s ability to provide a broader portfolio of natural flavors, colors, health ingredients, and plant-based solutions.

The integration will allow Döhler to offer a more comprehensive range of products tailored to foodservice, private label businesses, and industrial clients.

Premier Juices’ extensive expertise in fruit products—including lemon, lime, mango, passion fruit, pineapple, guava, cranberry, grapefruit, and apple—will reinforce Döhler’s market position.

The deal also includes Premier Juices’ blending, packaging, and quality control solutions, enabling Döhler to deliver customized ingredient solutions to meet evolving industry demands.

A key component of the acquisition is the addition of strategic operations in Delaware, a vital logistics hub that will improve supply chain efficiency and service flexibility for customers across North America.

Döhler stated that the optimized distribution network will enhance reliability, ensuring faster and more efficient product delivery.

This expansion aligns with increasing consumer demand for clean-label and organic products in North America. Market research from Fact.MR indicates that the global fruit puree market is projected to reach US$46.33 billion by 2034, growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.7% over the next decade.

Döhler’s acquisition positions the company to capitalize on this growth by expanding its natural ingredient solutions.

Earlier this year, Döhler North America reinforced its commitment to innovation with the opening of a new state-of-the-art facility.

Located at One Research Way, the Döhler North America Innovation Hub supports the company’s mission to advance food and beverage research.

The facility will also serve as the East Coast headquarters for Ixora-Scientific, Döhler Ventures, and “The Future of Nutrition and Longevity Institute.”

Spanning over 50,000 square feet on an eight-acre campus, the innovation center is designed to drive collaboration and scientific advancements in natural food, beverage, and nutrition solutions.

With the acquisition of Premier Juices and ongoing investment in research, Döhler North America continues to strengthen its presence in the natural ingredients sector while addressing evolving industry needs.
