GERMANY – Endress+Hauser, a Swiss-based process and laboratory instrumentation and automation supplier, has fully integrated concentration measurement specialist SensAction AG.
Following the integration, SensAction AG –founded in 2008 and part of the Endress+Hauser Group since 2017 – will from now on operate as Endress+Hauser Flow Germany AG.
Chairman of the Board Stefan Rothballer said the company has been growing together with Endress+Hauser for years, and the new company name and the adapted appearance “now make this change visible.”
Endress+Hauser Flow Germany AG is a specialist in instruments for measuring concentrations in liquids that utilize surface acoustic waves (SAW).
SAW is a form of ultrasonic and instruments based on it can be used in the food and beverage industry to determine the sugar content in mixed beverages such as soft drinks.
Endress+Hauser said that following the integration, this SAW technology will also be incorporated into the company’s portfolio in order to expand its product offering.
Endress+Hauser introduces new Proline 10 flowmeter line
Earlier, Endress+Hauser introduced a new line of flowmeter that reportedly provides a high level of reliability and performance.
The new Proline 10 flowmeters cover a wide range of basic applications in all kinds of industries and meet the demands of basic applications in the water and wastewater, food and beverages, mining, minerals and metals, chemicals, power, and energy, life sciences, utility, and other industries.
They can be used, for example, for measuring raw water, cooling water, process water, or wastewater with typical applications including volume measurement, consumption measurement, process monitoring, pump control, and dosing measurement.
In a statement, the Swiss technology company noted on top of traditional quality indicators, the expectations for additional process plant and measuring device quality have continually increased.
At the same time, end users now demand minimal required maintenance effort coupled with maximum ease of use and low operating costs.
The Proline 10 fulfills these requirements through an even stronger focus on simplicity and user-friendliness, providing cost-efficiency and time savings through the complete lifecycle via simple and intuitive operation.
