Global – Global supplier of food and beverage ingredients Tate & Lyle, American snack food company UTZ Brands, and American dairy agricultural cooperative Dari Gold have unveiled new members to their executive teams. 

Dawn Allen named chief financial officer of Tate & Lyle 

The new face at Tate & Lyle is Dawn Allen who will take on the role of chief financial officer as well as a member of the company’s board of directors, effective May 16.  

Allen, a chemistry graduate from Bath University, UK, succeeds Vivid Sehgal, who left the company on Dec. 31, 2021. 

She joins from Mars, Inc., where she has spent the past 25 years, most recently as global CFO and vice president of global transformation since 2020.  

Her earlier roles at Mars included senior financial positions in Europe and the United States, including global divisional CFO for food, drinks, and multi sales, and regional CFO for Wrigley Americas.  

Prior to Mars, she worked in the corporate finance department at Courtaulds PLC. She began her career at the auditing firm EY. 

Utz Brands has a new chief information officer 

At UTZ Brands, the new appointment is that of Satyaki Lodh. He has been named the company’s senior vice president and chief information officer at Utz Brands, Inc. 

Lodh, a computer science graduate, brings more than 30 years of experience in information technology roles across multiple industries, including food and beverage.  

He most recently was chief information officer at Borden Dairy. Before that, he was vice president of enterprise applications at Snyder’s-Lance, Inc., where he managed the application infrastructure supporting the company’s direct-store-delivery route operations. 

 He also was senior manager of software services at DS Waters of America, a project manager and technical lead at iGate, and a senior systems analyst at Tata Consultancy Services. 

Dari Gold unveils new Chief Finance Officer 

Meanwhile, at Dari Gold, Seattle-based farmer-owned dairy cooperative, Cor van den Berg is expected to take on the role of chief financial officer. 

Mr. van den Berg brings a wealth of experience to his new role having served Mars Inc., for over 20 years in various capacities including CFO of its health and nutrition division, CFO of its North America food operations. 

He takes charge of Dari Gold’s finance at a critical time at the dairy when it’s embarking on several of its largest capital investment projects in its 104-year history 

Notable projects include the construction of a new premium protein and butter production facility in Pasco, Wash., and the restoration of a butter and milk powder facility in Caldwell, Idaho, that suffered fire damage in October.
