Fam Stumabo has introduced an advanced version of its Yuran Hytec 300 cutting machine, now featuring an integrated exit conveyor for enhanced processing capabilities.

UK – Fam Stumabo has unveiled an upgraded version of its Yuran Hytec 300 cutting machine, designed for processing meat, poultry, alternative proteins, and pet food, with the addition of a new exit conveyor system.
The Yuran Hytec 300 EC, which will be showcased at the IFFA meat and alternative protein technology trade show in Frankfurt, Germany, this May, builds on the original model launched last year, adding key enhancements that streamline the cutting and processing of various products.
The addition of the exit conveyor offers several benefits, especially for batch processing, allowing products to be efficiently discharged into storage bins or other conveying systems without interrupting the machine’s operation.
According to Fam Stumabo, the new conveyor system helps maintain consistent production flow, eliminating the need to stop the machine when switching out totes during batch feeding.
The Yuran Hytec 300 EC features a belt-fed system that guides the product toward the feed roll, ensuring a reliable transfer into the circular knives for cutting.
The machine provides flexibility, capable of dicing, strip-cutting, and shredding products to different sizes with the aid of dual independent motors.
These motors enable precise control over the cut size and shape, without requiring additional cutting tools, which enhances the machine’s versatility and efficiency.
The Yuran Hytec 300 EC can handle a wide range of product sizes, thanks to its 300mm-wide conveyor belt, which accommodates larger items.
Quick changeovers are also facilitated by the removable splined shafts of the cutting spindles, allowing for fast adjustments between different cut sizes, reducing downtime in production.
The machine is designed with hygiene and ease of use in mind, featuring a structure that simplifies cleaning and maintenance.
Thomas Bogaerts, project engineer at Fam Stumabo, highlighted the machine’s ability to handle fresh, crust-frozen, tempered frozen, and hot-cooked meat and poultry with equal efficiency.
He emphasized that the Yuran Hytec 300 EC is particularly effective for producing shredded meats with a “pulled look,” ideal for applications such as barbecue meats, pizza toppings, salads, sandwiches, and snack products.
Bogaerts also pointed out that the integrated exit conveyor minimizes product spillage or loss during discharge and ensures a smooth flow of cut products.
The system’s design maintains product quality and ensures a more controlled and consistent discharge, even for sensitive items.
