KENYA – Kenya’s snack and meal market just got a delicious upgrade with the introduction of Farmers Choice’s latest culinary delight: Beef Smokies Bazenga.
This new offering aims to elevate the dining experience for meat enthusiasts with a uniquely seasoned, smoked beef delicacy suited for various occasions.
The company highlighted that Beef Smokies Bazenga, courtesy of consumer feedback, is crafted from premium quality beef, seasoned distinctively, and smoked to perfection.
Described as a cooked product, this smokie boasts a bold, savory flavor profile that is both rich and satisfying, making it an ideal choice for family barbecues, meals, and quick on-the-go snacks.
During the official launch event, Mr. Paul Odeyo, the Commercial Manager of Farmers Choice, shared his excitement about the new product.
“We are thrilled to bring Beef Smokies Bazenga to our consumers. This larger-sized smokie complements our existing range without replacing any products, addressing a specific consumer demand.
“Our dedicated team has perfected this recipe, and we are confident it will quickly become a favorite.”
Currently available nationwide, it has been introduced in markets across Nairobi, Nakuru, Naivasha, and Thika, with plans for further expansion to other major cities.
Consumers can now purchase Beef Smokies Bazenga at retail delis, cafeterias, and from trolley vendors across the country, priced at an affordable Ks 50 (US$ 0.39).
Expanding product lines and market reach
This latest launch is part of Farmers Choice’s broader strategy to diversify its product offerings and cater to evolving consumer preferences.
Earlier this year, the company introduced a new line of premium sausages made with organic herbs and spices, which received positive reviews for their rich taste and health-conscious ingredients.
This launch was part of their new Kadogoo range, which includes smaller portions of sausages and bacon designed to meet evolving consumer demands for convenient and flavorful options
Additionally, Farmers Choice has been investing in sustainable farming practices to ensure high-quality products while minimizing environmental impact.
Competition and market trends
Meanwhile, Kenchic, a leading competitor in the Kenyan market, recently made a grand entrance into the meat products market with the launch of Kenbeef.
Long renowned for its chicken offerings, Kenchic’s new range includes beef sausages, burgers, boerewors, beef mince, macon, and more, offering consumers a variety of delicious and high-quality beef products.
Kenchic’s expansion into the beef market complements its well-established poultry offerings, providing consumers with more diverse options for their meals.
