ISRAEL – World’s leading flavor and fragrances company, Givaudan has partnered with the Israeli-based technology incubator owned by the Strauss Group, to accelerate innovation in the food sector.

According to Givaudan, the partnership will enable expand its innovation ecosystem further by connecting with Israel-based food entrepreneurs who are contributing to the creation of healthier and sustainable products and solutions.

This is part of the continued innovation efforts by the company to offer customers with great tasting solutions in food and beverage while using cutting edge technologies.

Founded by the Strauss-Group in 2015, The Kitchen aims to turn early stage FoodTech startups into breakthrough companies that create real value in the global food industry.

The incubator is one of the first foodtech incubators in Israel, backed by the office of the Chief Scientist and collaboration with Givaudan reinforces its commitment to harnessing innovation capacity in a bid to enhance a global food system that is more productive, more affordable, more sustainable, and healthier.

With a focus on product innovation and development for the food industry, Givaudan launched an incubator or accelerator program called MISTA, to enable start-ups and established corporations to optimise ideas, products, people and investments.

MISTA Optimisation Center provides access to a product development facility, equipment for pasteurisation and fermentation, experts providing market and leadership development strategies, as well as input from world renowned culinary and food scientists.
