Glovo partners with Chicken Republic to enhance consumers satisfaction

NIGERIA – Glovo, a Spanish delivery startup has partnered with Chicken Republic, a Nigerian fast-food chain and franchise to improve customer satisfaction by easing stress for consumers ordering online.

In a statement, Glovo said that the decision was made by the Chicken’s republic expressing their desire to streamline its partnerships in the space and improve customer satisfaction.

In addition, the firm noted that through the partnership it aimed at enhancing the experience for Chicken Republic’s customers ordering online, from point of order to point of delivery, ensuring a more efficient service for customers.

“Through this partnership, we aim to enhance the experience for Chicken Republic’s customers ordering online, from point of order to point of delivery, ensuring a more efficient service for customers,” the statement read.

“With this partnership, Glovo will drive customer access and convenience to the Chicken Republic, while also expanding its customer base.”

Speaking on the essence of the partnership, the Chief Executive Officer of Food Concepts, Mr Kofi Abunu noted that it is important for the QSR to partner with brands like Glovo that share in vision to deliver excellent customer experiences.

“We believe Glovo will boost our deliveries and positively impact our business,” he said.

The General Manager for Glovo Nigeria also expressed her satisfaction with the alliance between the two franchises.

Noting the initial collaboration with Chicken Republic in May 2022, she stated that the startup has demonstrated the ability to provide a fast and superior service for its customers.

“Thus, we are very proud that Chicken Republic, the leading QSR in Nigeria, has recognized our expertise and chosen us.”

Prior to this partnership, Glovo worked with Chicken Republic since May 2022 and has since then grown exponentially.

With this partnership, the Glovo app becomes the key platform for customers ordering Chicken Republic online.

This move speaks to Glovo’s growth in the Nigerian market and its rise to the leader in the industry in two years of operations in the country,” the statement said.

Though Chicken Republic has over 300 stores in Nigeria, the partnership is effective only in places where the food delivery company operates, including Lagos, Abuja and Ibadan.

Glovo currently operates in 58 Chicken Republic stores across Lagos, Abuja & Ibadan and with this partnership, the platform will drive customer access and convenience to Chicken Republic, while also expanding its own customer base.
