Project SHINE continues to improve sanitation, clean energy access, and skill development across rural communities in Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh.
INDIA – Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) has expanded its corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts in Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh through its flagship program, Project SHINE.
The initiative focuses on sustainable development and community empowerment by addressing key areas such as clean water access, hygiene education, renewable energy, and youth skill development.
As part of the project, HCCB has installed water filtration units in the region to improve access to clean drinking water.
The company has also introduced Water Access, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) programs in schools and communities. These sessions cover essential hygiene practices, handwashing techniques, adolescence education, and communicable disease prevention, aiming to instill healthy habits from a young age.
