USA – Chicago-based Ingredion Incorporated has been recognised for the 11th time as one of the 2025 World’s Most Ethical Companies by Ethisphere, a global leader in defining and advancing the standards of ethical business practices.
The World’s Most Ethical Companies assessment is grounded in Ethisphere’s proprietary Ethics Quotient, which requires companies to provide more than 240 different proof points on practices that support robust ethics and compliance, governance, a culture of ethics, environmental and social impact, and initiatives that support a strong value chain.
That data undergoes further qualitative analysis by the panel of experts, who spend thousands of hours vetting and evaluating each year’s applicants.
This process serves as an operating framework for capturing and codifying best-in-class ethics and compliance practices from organisations worldwide.
Proofs from Ingredion demonstrated that the company implements rigorous policies and procedures to maintain ethical integrity and compliance across its global operations as well as investing in community development programs and supports local initiatives to make a positive social impact.
The results also indicated that Ingredion prioritizes accountability and transparency in decision-making and governance, making it appear on the list.
Erica Salmon Byrne, Ethisphere’s chief strategy officer and executive chair, congratulated Ingredion on being recognized as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies.
She highlighted that this achievement reflects a genuine dedication to upholding business integrity, emphasising that such practices benefit businesses and are valued by employees and other stakeholders.
Jim Zallie, Ingredion’s president and CEO, said, “We are proud to be named one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies by Ethisphere in 2025.
