ITALY – La Cimbali, an Italian manufacturer of professional espresso and cappuccino equipment, has launched the new S60, a fully-automatic model which can reportedly produce 600 cups of a coffee a day, expanding its S series of professional coffee machines.

According to La Cimbali, the S60 model is designed for high footfall areas where speed of service and quality are critical, such as city centre restaurants and travel hubs such as airports and train stations.

The Cimbali S60 superautomatic features new barista tools to enhance the user experience for staff. Key features include a pre-heated metal coffee group which ensures coffee quality and continuity through peak periods. Additionally, the machine includes sensors which manage and control the infusion and delivery phase of the brew cycle.

“Cimbali patented technologies ensure that in cup quality remains consistent through the day, irrespective of volumes and whether the customer is using commercial grade or a specialty coffee blend,” Daniel Clarke, managing director, La Cimbali, said.

“The S60 can create 96 different drink recipes so the operator can switch up the menu with seasonal drinks through the year and deliver the quality and range of beverages that consumers have come to expect as standard when out of home.”
