ASIA – India’s operator of the American pizza restaurant, Domino’s Pizza and Dunkin’ Donuts, Jubilant FoodWorks has appointed Kapil Grover as the new Chief Marketing Officer of Domino’s Pizza effective July 2018.

According to a report by ET Retail, Grover will be responsible for leading the marketing strategy for the brand given his 18 years’ experience in the food and beverage industry.

Prior to the appointment, he worked with Burger King India as Chief Marketing Officer and also with KFC India.

The master franchise holder operates over 1,140 Domino’s Pizza and over 35 Dunkin’ Donuts outlets in India.

Jubilant FoodWorks reported 27.3% growth in in Q4 operating revenue at US$109.86 million marked by key strategic initiatives including the launch of all new Domino’s, every day value and sharp focus on digital sales.

Early this year, the company announced a joint venture with Golden Harvest to launch Domino’s Pizza in Bangladesh.

Domino’s was implicated in an anti-profiteering committee notice to Jubilant FoodWorks for allegedly not passing on GST rate cut benefit to consumers at its Domino’s Pizza outlets.
