SOUTH AFRICA – Kah Tequila, a brand under the ownership of Amber Beverage Group (ABG), has introduced its offering, Kah Blanco, into the South African market.

The launch of Kah Blanco Tequila in the South African market continues this legacy, presenting a pure and unaged expression that captures the essence of Mexico.
According to ABG, the name “Kah” translates to “life” in the ancient Mayan language. The brand aligns itself with the spirit of the Day of the Dead, a multi-day festival celebrating lives lived.
The festival, rooted in the belief that mourning is an insult to the deceased, encourages celebrating the lives they led with food, drink, and activities they enjoyed.
Kah Blanco Tequila is presented in the iconic skull-shaped bottle that characterizes all Kah Tequila expressions. The design, intricately decorated, pays homage to the rich traditions and cultural heritage of Mexico, making it a standout addition to any tequila collection and an ideal Christmas gift.
Described as an un-aged tequila made from 100% Blue Agave, Kah Blanco is bottled at 43% ABV. The tasting notes include delicate and pleasant aromas with pronounced notes of cooked agave and light floral undertones.
The flavor profile begins with sweetness and fruitiness, transitioning to peppery tastes, with a clean and smooth finish. According to BizCommunity, Kah Tequila Blanco is Kosher certified.
For South African consumers, Kah Blanco tequila is now available at selected Pick ‘n Pay, Checkers, Makro, Takealot, and Norman Goodfellows stores, distributed by Firebrand Africa.
