NIGERIA – Kellogg-Tolaram Nigeria, the leading snacks and breakfast foods operator in Nigeria has unveiled the newly improved Kellogg’s Cornflakes in the market.
Being a healthy alternative breakfast option, the new offering has a unique taste and crunchiness, a testament to its freshness.
According to the company, it is fortified with essential vitamins to include: vitamins A, B2, B3, B6, B9, B12, C and D, as well as a modest amount of energy, matching with global quality standards.
It also has less fat and no cholesterol, making it not only an ideal diet for children but also beneficial to adults.

The product was first introduced in 2018, then it was immediately withdrawn following consumers’ feedback on taste which was causally linked to technology and other local restraining factors.

Also present at the launch was President, Nutrition Society of Nigeria, Prof. Wasiu Afolabi, who commended the company for modifying the product as expedient for the satisfaction of the public without compromising quality.

Kellogg Tolaram Nigeria Limited is a Joint Venture between Kellogg Company USA and Tolaram Group of Singapore, which was incorporated in 2015 to develop the cereal and snack business in Nigeria and other West African countries.
The JV set up one of the most modern cereal plants in West Africa, which commenced commercial production in 2018.
Along with the cereals, KTNL launched an extruded snack product under the brand Munch IT.
