KENYA – Coca-Cola, has unveiled a new identity for its sourced water brand, Keringet, as part of strategic plans to capture a larger share of Kenya’s premium mineral water market.
“We are thrilled to reintroduce Keringet to our consumers with a fresh appearance, an expanded product range, and a meaningful ‘Own Your Richness’ campaign,” said Caleb Ajidadun, Commercial Execution Senior Director of The Coca-Cola Company.
“Keringet has always been about delivering the purest, most refreshing water, and now, we invite everyone to embrace the richness of life – from staying hydrated to making sustainable choices and celebrating life’s moments.”
Keringet’s iconic blue bottle has undergone a modern transformation to better highlight the brand’s renewed commitment to championing African success stories through the new campaign ‘Own Your Richness’.
During the launch event, Isabelle Kariuki-Rostom, The Coca-Cola Company Marketing Director of East and Central Africa, emphasized that the ‘Own Your Richness’ campaign represents an exciting new chapter for Coca-Cola’s premium water brand.
“Through this campaign, we invite our customers to discover richness in every aspect of life. Whether it’s staying hydrated to feel your best, cherishing moments with loved ones, or making sustainable choices, Keringet encourages consumers to embrace a more prosperous and fulfilling life,” Isabelle added.
Keringet, renowned for its natural spring water sourced from Molo highlands in the Great Rift Valley, has been a top choice for consumers for decades.
Before joining Coca-Cola in 2014, Keringet –owned by crown beverages- was leading Kenya’s bottled water market with 13.87 per cent market share.
The merger with Coca-Cola’s Dasani created a new market leader with a combined market share of 22.88 percent, which at the time was more than double that of its closest competitor Excel, which owns the Quencher water brand.
With a legacy of quality and excellence, Keringet’s brand relaunch is expected to solidify the brand’s position as Kenya’s leading premium water brand while providing an enriching experience to its customers.
