Kerry expands customer co-creation facility in Bangkok

THAILAND – Kerry, a global leader in taste and nutrition, has expanded its Customer Co-Creation facility in Bang Na, Bangkok, enhancing its ability to collaborate on innovative solutions with customers in Southeast Asia. 

The new facility aims to drive growth in the region’s food and beverage sectors by providing a dedicated space for customer-focused innovation.

The updated Co-Creation facility is equipped with specialized innovation suites and a modern beverage lab, which will focus on dairy, refreshing beverages, and carbonated drinks. 

The center’s advanced technologies and skilled workforce are designed to support businesses across the region, positioning Kerry as a key player in food and beverage innovation.

Thailand’s food and beverage sector continues to grow, with the market value expected to reach US$5.4 billion by 2027. 

This expansion is driven by rising incomes, a recovery in tourism, and a shift towards healthier food choices.

The beverage segment is also a major driver in the market, projected to increase from US$4.4 billion in 2022 to US$6.7 billion by 2025. 

Thailand is a significant player in the global food market, being the top exporter of prepared meats with exports valued at US$3.1 billion in 2022.

Kerry has had a presence in Thailand since 2002 and has established itself as a key partner in the region’s food and beverage industry. 

In addition to the Co-Creation center, Kerry operates a manufacturing plant in Bangpoo, Thailand. 

This site serves as a Center of Excellence for meat technology, catering to customers in Southeast Asia, Japan, and the United Kingdom. 

The facility upholds rigorous food quality and safety standards to meet the demands of international exports.
