Keurig Dr Pepper unveils new flavor lineup for 2025

USA – Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) is set to expand its cold beverage portfolio in the U.S. with an exciting new lineup of flavors across its popular brands, including Dr Pepper®, 7UP®, A&W®, and Snapple®.

The company aims to build on the success of its 2024 innovations, such as Dr Pepper Creamy Coconut—its most successful limited-time offering to date—and Canada Dry Fruit Splash Cherry, which emerged as the top-performing carbonated soft drink flavor innovation of the year, according to Circana data.

“Our experts, from flavor scientists to trend spotters, have crafted a dynamic lineup across soft drinks, waters, teas, and juices that will offer consumers nationwide even more choice through new fruit flavors, modern twists on familiar favorites, and zero-sugar options,” said Eric Gorli, president of U.S. refreshment beverages at KDP.

Leading the 2025 flavor expansion is Dr Pepper Blackberry, now a permanent addition to the brand’s portfolio.

Available in both regular and zero-sugar varieties, the new flavor combines Dr Pepper’s signature 23 flavors with the rich sweetness of blackberry.

KDP cited Circana data showing that consumer interest in blackberry-flavored carbonated soft drinks is growing at twice the rate of category growth by dollar sales.

Additionally, KDP is expanding its lemon-lime soda segment with 7UP Tropical, which blends the brand’s signature citrus taste with mango and peach flavors.

The new variety, launching this month, will be available in both regular and zero-sugar options.

Snapple is also introducing a new permanent offering in March: Peach Tea & Lemonade, which is based on the brand’s top-selling iced tea flavor by dollar sales, according to Circana.

The new flavor will be available in various pack sizes in the U.S.

Hydration brand Bai is expanding its lineup with two new permanent flavors this month, both featuring what the brand describes as “the most hydrating berry,” based on USDA FoodData Central findings.

Meanwhile, A&W is preparing to release a limited-time offering in August: A&W Ice Cream Sundae, which blends vanilla ice cream and fudge flavors.

The company also teased upcoming retailer-exclusive and regional releases for brands like Crush, Sunkist, and Mott’s.

KDP recently appointed Eric Gorli as president of U.S. Refreshment Beverages, overseeing the company’s US$9 billion liquid refreshment business.

For the first nine months of 2024, the company reported US$11.3 billion in net sales, reflecting a 3 percent year-over-year increase, while operating income grew by 12.4 percent to US$2.5 billion.
