John successfully introduced a2 Milk as a safe option for those with lactose intolerance, and we are excited about his potential to further our mission.”
Bortells expressed his enthusiasm for joining Meati, citing his inspiration from the book “Entangled Life” by Merlin Sheldrake.
“My goal with Meati is twofold: to provide the best-tasting, nutrient-rich food to as many people as possible and to contribute to environmental sustainability. I aim to demonstrate what’s achievable with mycelium,” he underscored.
In addition, Becky O’Grady has joined Meati’s board of directors. O’Grady has a robust background in the consumer packaged goods industry, primarily from her tenure at General Mills.
