TANZANIA – Mega Beverage Company Limited, the producer of the popular spirit brand KVant has launched a new premium package of its KVant spirit into the market, reports the Citizen.

According to the firm’s marketing director, Marko Maduhu, the new packaging is not accompanied by price changes and the new package was motivated by an urge to give customers a product with a much more appealing look.

Speaking at the launch, the deputy minister for State in the Prime Minister’s office, Antony Mavunde said one of the challenges facing industrialization in the country include inadequate promotion, poor standards and quality of products hence the need to overcome such deficiencies for competitiveness in the market.

He commended Mega Beverages for investing heavily in manufacturing sector of the country.

“I would like to request industrialists to follow Mega Beverages in taking an active role to supplement government’s efforts to widen the manufacturing sector,” he said.

“I also commend the company for launching this new package spirit aimed at exploiting the vast regional and international markets.”

Marko Maduhu said the company is working towards increasing its market share in the region with quality spirits.

“Our esteemed customers will enjoy their favourite drink in a new and much better-looking bottle but with its original taste,” said Maduhu

“Our new theme is now new look, same K-Vant.

We are well prepared to make the drink available in every part of the country and even beyond to make sure our customers continue to enjoy K-Vant brand in a new.”

He said apart from Dar es Salaam, the new product’s launch will also be done in Arusha and Mwanza cities although distributions will be done through agents countrywide.

Maduhu said Mega Beverages will continue to support the government’s industrialization drive through continued investment in manufacturing that will increase its contribution to the economy through tax payment and job creation. “The company decided to change the package of its product simply to give consumers a product with a much more appealing look, a truly Tanzanian product yet correspond with international standards.”
