BRAZIL – Minerva Foods has maintained its position in the Carbon Efficient Index (ICO2 B3) for the fifth consecutive year, solidifying its recognition as a company with a significant focus on sustainability within the Brazilian financial market.
The updated index became effective early January, marking another year of inclusion for the company.
This milestone reflects Minerva Foods’ ongoing efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and implement responsible environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies.
The company has credited its employees and partners for their role in achieving this recognition.

In addition, the company improved its Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) water security score in 2023, moving from B- to B.
Other sustainability-related achievements include achieving full compliance with the Monitoring Protocol of Cattle Suppliers in the Amazon and Brazil’s Public Commitment for Cattle Ranching.
