USA – Molson Coors Brewing Company has announced that Sergey Yeskov, currently Chief Sales & Customer Excellence Officer, has been promoted to the role of President and Chief Executive Officer, Molson Coors International, effective January 1, 2018.

Yeskov had successfully led Molson Coors Croatia & Bosnia business to sustained share and profit growth before transferring to Molson Coors Canada, in 2016.

He is succeeded as Chief Sales & Customer Excellence Officer, Molson Coors Canada, by Andrew Stordeur, currently VP Sales West Region; Molson Coors Canada.

“As a commercial leader with proven results and an innate understanding of what is required to achieve our First Choice Ambition, Sergey is a valuable addition to the MCBC Enterprise Leadership Team,” said Mark Hunter, President and CEO of Molson Coors.

His appointment follows the announcement that CEO of Molson Coors’s international business Stewart Glendinning had been named financial officer of Tyson Foods, joining the company on 11 December 2017.

Beginning his career at Molson Coors in 2005 as UK chief financial officer, Glendinning subsequently held the positions of global CFO, UK CEO, and Canada CEO.

Molson Coors recently recorded net sales decrease of 2.1% in the third quarter of the year compared to the same period last year, but saw volumes rise in Europe.

Total net sales in the three months to 30 September were US$2.88 billion, down from US$2.94 billion in 2016.

Its global brand volume of 25.5 million hectolitres increased 0.6%, due to growth in Europe (up 9.6%) and the company’s international unit (up 64.7%).
