USA – SOUR PATCH KIDS, a Mondelez International, Inc. brand that produces candy, has launched its first-ever gummy candy that glows under blacklight.
As stated by the company, the watermelon and strawberry candy is coated with edible confetti (a tumeric product) that glows, bringing a twist experiential to Sour Patch Kids’ signature: a sour-then-sweet sensation.
While turmeric powers the glow, the extract is completely flavorless, allowing the new, mouth-watering strawberry-watermelon flavor to shine.

To prove the glow effect, the SOUR PATCH KIDS brand is introducing an exclusive Snapchat filter. Snapchat users can scan the candy to see it glow as if under a blacklight—no extra equipment needed.
Consumers can also use the augmented reality experience in selfie mode and scan the packaging to watch their SOUR PATCH KIDS Glow Ups appear on screen, dancing and glowing under a blacklight.
Ring Pop expands its candy range with new chocolate product
Ring Pop, the subsidiary company of Bazooka Candy, has unveiled its first Milk Chocolate Ring Pop, venturing into the chocolate world.
According to the company, the new launch will meet the demand of chocolate consumers and expand its footprint.

According to Bazooka Candy Brands, the pops are accurate to the size of the original hard candy Ring Pop, a solid chocolate 3-D gem with rainbow sprinkles speckled throughout.
Launched for a limited time to coincide with spring, Ring Pop seeks to add a new twist to Easter and spring consumers’ confectionery baskets.
