Mondelēz reveals 2024 festive product range to boost seasonal sales

USA- Confectionary giant Mondelēz International has launched its new 2024 Christmas season product range to help its retailers enhance their seasonal sales.

According to the confectionary giant, the festive lineup will feature various new confectionary treats and returning customer favorites from its popular brands like Oreo and Cadbury. The festive lineup is part of the company’s strategy of capitalizing on the growing trend of home celebrations during the Christmas holidays.

Mondelēz will offer the product line in various sharing formats, especially multipacks. The company revealed that Cadbury Roses and Cadbury Heroes are essential products for retailers to stock during the holiday season.

This holiday season, the company’s product range expands with Cadbury Mini Puds, offered in a 73-gram packaging that targets consumers seeking bite-sized treats. This would be a reintroduction of the Cadbury Puds, originally introduced in 2021. The expanded range is expected to hit retailer shelves around October when the festive season begins.

The company will also offer the limited-edition Oreo Gingerbread treat, which features embossed cookies intended to redirect attention on retail shelves.

Mondelēz also emphasizes the need for early stocking of its festive season product line, which should begin in earnest around September. This product is intended to appeal to customers looking for a seasonal snack that induces holiday nostalgia.

In November, the confectionary giant will focus on new products. Mondelēz revealed plans to introduce the Cadbury Dairy Milk Creamy Advent Calendar, which features 24 chocolate bars with soft fillings.

However, the calendar is reserved as a premium option for select customers who are looking to enhance their holiday experience.

All new and reintroduced product ranges are expected to experience their most significant sales in December, during the peak of holiday shopping. The company and its retailers are projected to benefit from customers looking to finalize their gift purchases.

The confectionery giant highlighted half of all winter confectionary sales occur in December, which makes it a critical period for its associate retailers to focus on gifting formats.
