US – Monster Energy has introduced Juice Monster Rio Punch to its US product lineup, inspired by the vibrant atmosphere of Rio de Janeiro’s Carnival and Brazil’s diverse fruit offerings.

Monster said its latest creation was developed with Brazil’s diverse fruit varieties in mind, blending exotic fruity flavours with a hint of spice and Monster’s signature energy blend.

Dan McHugh, Chief Marketing Officer at Monster Energy, described the beverage as a lively representation of Rio’s festive spirit, saying, “Rio Punch gives you the energy to party from the shores of Copacabana Beach to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain.”

Juice Monster Rio Punch joins Monster’s other popular juice varieties, including Juice Monster Aussie Style Lemonade, Mango Loco, and Pacific Punch. The company’s focus on diverse, flavorful energy drinks continues with these additions.

Earlier this month, Monster launched Rehab Monster Green Tea to cater to health-conscious consumers looking for hydration and recovery solutions.

The new drink blends green tea with essential electrolytes and vitamins, making it a versatile option for active individuals.

The brand aims to appeal to a wide range of consumers, from athletes looking for post-workout replenishment to casual drinkers seeking a refreshing alternative to traditional carbonated energy drinks.

In Q2 2024, Monster Beverages reported a 2.5 percent rise in net sales, reaching US$1.90 billion, with the energy drink segment contributing US$1.74 billion.

The company’s gross profit margin stood at 53.6 percent, benefiting from reduced freight costs, strategic pricing, and lower aluminum can expenses.
