This collaboration aims to enhance the dining experience by pairing unique beverage flavors with Little Caesars’ popular menu items.
USA – Mountain Dew, a soft drink brand owned by PepsiCo, has partnered with Little Caesars to unveil the new Mountain Dew Mango Rush, expanding its offerings.
The tropical beverage blends Mountain Dew’s refreshing citrus taste with a bold kick of mango flavour, resulting in Mountain Dew Mango Rush.
Both companies stated that the product was created to give Little Caesars’ consumers more of the fruit-forward flavour they crave, perfectly pairing with their favourite Little Caesars pizza.
Scott Finlow, Chief Marketing Officer, PepsiCo, said, “One thing Mountain Dew and Little Caesars consumers share is a thirst for adventurous flavours. With Mountain Dew Mango Rush, our goal was to collaborate with Little Caesars to create a new, refreshing beverage that pizza and Dew enthusiasts will love.”
Mountain Dew Mango Rush will be available in a collectible 16-ounce can with a co-branded design, for a limited time while supplies last.
Regarding the new product, Greg Hamilton, Little Caesars’ Chief Marketing Officer, expressed enthusiasm about their collaboration with Mountain Dew, citing the popularity of previous flavour exclusives like Pepsi Pineapple.
He noted that Little Caesars customers enjoy pairing unique beverages with the chain’s beloved menu items, making Mountain Dew Mango Rush an ideal addition.
PepsiCo wins exclusive rights over ‘Mountain Dew’ trademark
Recently, the Telangana High Court issued a permanent injunction barring Hyderabad-based MagFast Beverages from infringing on Pepsi’s trademark on the Mountain Dew label.
The court has held that beverage MNC PepsiCo has exclusive rights over the ‘Mountain Dew’ trademark and directed MagFast Beverages to pay damages to Pepsi.
In an 18-year-old dispute, Pepsi sued Hyderabad-based MagFast Beverages for selling bottled water under ‘Mountain Dew.’
Representing Pepsi, senior counsel K Vivek Reddy argued that Pepsi registered the Mountain Dew trademark in 1985 and had exclusive rights to it.
He added that MagFast had dishonestly copied the trademark for selling bottled water, even though it knew that Pepsi had exclusive rights.
Meanwhile, MagFast argued that it was unaware of Pepsi’s trademark and claimed that it came up with the Mountain Dew brand on its own in 2000 to sell bottled water, which was much before Pepsi launched Mountain Dew in India.
