GHANAThe leading distributors of Indomie Instant Noodles, MULTI-PRO Private Limited, says it would soon start mass production of the noodles in Ghana as part of its 2015 objective.

“As part of our company’s 2015 objective, we have acquired a vast land at Prampram to establish our own manufacturing factory to produce the noodles locally other than importing them from Nigeria,” the National Sales and Marketing Manager at MULTI-PRO Private Limited, Mr Manisu Goyal, said in an interview, when the company donated Hyundai vehicles to its distributors across the country.

He indicated that the company had made a tremendous improvement in sales  as distribution figures  showed an increase from four million to eight million cartons annually in Ghana.

“We are donating 40 Hyundai vehicles valued at GH¢2 million to distributors of our product nationwide, to show our appreciation for the support they gave the company in diffcult times,” he added.

He said the donation underscored the company’s belief that organisations must not be in business just to make profit for themselves but to also support the community.

“As an indication of our commitment to this initiative, the company will be making some more presentations to distributors in Kumasi, Sunyani, Techiman, Tarkwa, Koforidua, Tamale, among other cities nationwide to show our appreciation,” he noted.

MULTI-PRO Private Limited is currently one of the largest instant noodles distributors in the country, controlling about 97 per cent of the instant noodles market.
