ZIMBABWE – Mr Jeremy Brook, the national foods holdings group CEO resigned after 22 years of service in the company, according to a report in The Herald.

The resignation which is effective as from October 31st will end a long term career in Natfoods for Mr. Brook who has been CEO since 2007.

According to the company chairman Mr. Todd Moyo, the resignation came from a desire for Mr. Brook to spend more time with family and also pursue personal interests. He also paid a tribute to Mr. Brook for his immense contributions to the company when he worked there.

According to The Herald newspaper, he said, “Jeremy has led the National Foods Group through difficult times. He joined the Innscor group in 1992 and was appointed to the role of CEO of the National Foods Group in 2007.

In that role he was instrumental in making National Foods the company that it is today”.

Mr. Michael Lashbrook, the company’s operations director, will be the acting CEO while the board looks for a successor.
